As we focus our lives on connecting to God we are constantly surprised. One of Jesus most unusual commands is that we must be like little children. Sometimes that doesn’t always make sense, but when I watch something like this it makes all the sense in the world. We are commanded to come to God with an unreserved and non-manipulated joy drinking in with a full cup all that he has for us.
The words of British poet Robert Abrahams say it well, “For some men die by shrapnel, And some go down in flames, But most men perish inch by inch, In play at little games.” Our goal is to identify the little games and put a stop to them and put the right weight on the right things.
